The scenery
changes from rail yard to pasture. The railroad runs from Oakdale
to Jamestown. The dinner train travels half the distance and then
reverses course. Locomotives on both ends of the train allow the
train to operate in either direction without turning around.
The small talk with our table
mates runs out around the second course and John and I talk to each other
while watching the cows outside the slowly moving train. |
