The Sunset
Dinner Train consists of rolling stock of varying ages and origins.
Someone spent a signficiant amount of money to make the train handsome.
Operating on meager budgets, many tourist lines refurbish their cars using
a single coat of paint. The Sunset cars were clean, painted to match
and rebuilt to serve as entertainment vehicles.
The taller coach may have
been from the Sacramento Northern - it resembles coaches that operated
on the former Central Valley railroad. |
