New Mexico
is a state filled with panoramas and vistas; land falling away and reaching
out, expansive and vast. Our destination for the day is the Galisteo
Basin. The elevation drops to reveal a large piece of New Mexico.
Car Attendant enthusiastically exclaims most distant visible point is two
hundred fifty miles away. I ask him if he knows the value of that
point so far off. He looks at me with a blank expression. |
