Normally (when the tunnel is open), the Santa Cruz, Big Trees & Pacific runs right down the middle of the street and stops directly in front of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  The ticket booth waits for passengers while one of the roller coasters rattles overhead.  Just beyond is the beach and the Pacific Ocean.
