The Change for Change Campaign!

Hey, let's make this road trip something even more fun.  Let's take some change and make some change.  I'm asking my friends, fans and neighbors to pledge a penny for every mile of the trip - and all those pennies will go to two really great organizations. [Click here for more on these groups]

Sister Betty (that's me) will match the first $500 in pledges penny-for-penny.  Join me to change eight thousand miles into four thousand dollars. [Questions?]

American Friends Service Committee
Founded in 1917 to provide conscientious objectors with an opportunity to aid civilian victims during World War I, today the AFSC has programs that focus on issues related to economic justice, peace building and demilitarization, social justice, and youth, in the United States, and in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and at the United Nations.
