Even if you're not a fan of trains, the trip from Emeryville
to Reno is one I recommend everyone take. The train makes the journey
in just a little more time than it takes to drive to Reno by car, and you
have a chance to view a part of the world you won't see from the road.
Order far enough in advance, and tickets on Amtrak are very affordable.
I'm sure I'll return to Reno by rail, but next time I may stay on the
train and go all the way to Chicago.... |
