While the landscape around Reno may have it's own beauty, most of the visitors to the city spend little time enjoying it.  We're staying at the Silver Legacy - one of three hotel/casinos joined together in a seamless casino mall.  You can walk from one end to the other without ever stepping outside or seeing a window.

I wonder if some of the Imagineers from Disney helped build this place - there is a huge replica of a "silver mining machine" (read: smelter) that lights up and puts on a show every thirty minutes, employees in themed costumes wander the labyrinth of walkways, and it's nearly impossible to know exactly where you are in the confusion.  ("How do we get back to our room?"  "I think it's over there."  "Where?").  Eventually, in attempt to escape, Rufus asks a guard where she would direct people during a fire - thinking this will lead to a quick exit route.  She has to think about this for several moments and then says, "Probably not the elevators."
