RDC Tour : BC Rail: Interior

This view looks toward the "B" end of BC-30.  BC-30 is an RDC-3 and the front half is used for a Railway Post Office and baggage compartment.

The seats in BC-30 are fixed facing the "A" end of the car.  In other RDCs, the seats are mounted on swivels.  The swivel is controlled using a small foot pedal near the aisle. When the train changes direction, the conductor comes through the car and reverses the direction of the seats.
