Although RDCs are equipped with couplers at both ends, these cars were
not designed to pull other equipment. The couplers allow two or more
Rail Diesel Cars to be connected and operated as a single train set.
Once connected, an engineer at one end of the train can control the entire
train from a single control cab. |
