I noticed The Skulls during a visit to Portland, Maine.  I envisioned a handful of teenagers with big dreams of being tough.  Having selected the name in their backyard clubhouse, they dared each other to spray paint the logo anywhere the police where unlikely to go.  The ferocious marking complete, the teenagers race home before violating curfew.
