Mount Washington is the highest mountain in the Northeastern
United States and showcases some of the most severe weather in the world.
Winds at the top of the mountain have reached 231 miles per hour and temperatures
with windchill have fallen to -107 F.
During the summer and fall, when the weather is more hospitable, steam
trains take tourists to the summit of the mountain.
