Before I continue,
I feel the need to reassert my credentials as a card-carrying
rail fan. I even spotted this Illinois Central locomotive
as it sped past embedded in a BNSF Train. Illinois Central merged
with Canadian Pacific in 1999. Finding one of their locomotives four
years and two thousand miles away is a surprise.
